One of the albums I most looked forward to remastering for you this year was this Ruth Welcome zither LP, it is, after all, the third most popular download in these parts. But it turns out that the only vinyl copy I could dig out of the collection had a whole passle of skips on it, and I wasn't able to get a reasonable rip from it in time. So this one will have to wait until next year. I did scan the album, and I stuck the cover picture and label down at the bottom of this post. You'll see that it doesn't look anything like the old scan above. And big thanks to Fred Scheiterlein for putting his address label on his record in a spot where I couldn't PhotoShop it out. The new images aren't in the download, though, so if you want to save them, you'll have to do that the hard way. Maybe next year...
